What I Can Do

I feel that there are common threads that flow through the various styles that I use in my illustration. I like images that are well-rendered, using dramatic light to make the 2-dimensional feel like it has real volume. I like an illustration to have a dynamic quality- to incorporate movement into a piece whenever possible.

All illustration projects start with a basic pencil sketch. Depending on the clients needs, I can work either digitally, or with traditional media such as oils, acrylics, airbrush and colored pencils. I always send a full-color sketch before going to completion on any job. Color is usually a primary concern for my illustrations so I want to be sure that there are no surprises.

My studio is equipped to work with any combination of digital or traditional (oil and acrylic paint). I can work for you as an illustrator to produce final artwork, or do preliminary comp art for concept presentation. I also try to keep my pricing flexible- if a certain budget is required I will make every attempt to help the client meet their target goal.
