I am an Artist, Illustrator and Professor of Art.
Yes, I wear many hats. I have worked for many years primarily as an illustrator, creating artwork in children’s publishing, fantasy, educational publishing and advertising design. The illustration section in the menu bar leads to a wide variety of works that I have done as an illustrator.
I also teach as an adjunct at Kean University and Bloomfield College in NJ. My work as a professor fits in nicely with my own professional work, and I consider it a privilege to teach the students at both institutions. The fine art work that I have done is related directly to my academic career as an illustrator. For current students of mine- I have posted downloadable copies of syllabi, assignments and other related important information. This can be found in the teaching section.
There will be other sections to come- including current work, archives of past illustrations (lots of stuff) and a blog related to things that are on my mind.
If you have any questions, please contact me. I describe my working methods, and artistic methods in the How I Work section.
Looking forward to talking to friends, colleagues and all of you that I have yet to meet.
